What would cause squeezing pain in my son's chest when he gets excited?My son was suddenly startled last night and then immediately grabbed his chest and started crying. He said it felt like "clenching" on his left side of heart. It stopped hurting after about 7 minutes and he is fine now. He has had asthma in the past and I thought that it was acting up, but I was wondering if I should be more concerned. (I did give have him take a hit on his inhaler right after he started hurting.)
By the way, my son is 10 years old
