Why does the navy want me but the army doesn't?What's up with this: I'm kind of interested in joining the military, but I have some minor allergy induced asthma. It's annoying sometimes, but I've never had an attack and I can hold me own physically (I can even swim faster than my friend did who was accepted by the Army). So I e-mail the Army and ask "Does the Army have jobs for people with allergy-induced asthma?" Two days later, I get an e-mail saying no-way, if I show ANY signs of ANY asthma the Army doesn't want me.
I cried for a while, then on a whim I e-mailed the navy the same question. To my surprise, the Navy gave me a call the next day. I'm pretty sure they wanted to schedule an appiontment with me, but I was at school so they told me Mom they might call again later. A few days later I get a postcard from the Navy asking me if I want more information. I thought the Navy has the same asthma policy as the Army. Are they more leniant, or do they just want to talk to me just on the chance that by some miracle I can join?
