asthma attack in front of my class :(?I was in gym class and I had an asthma attack, I just started crying because I couldn't get it to stop and I didn't have an inhaler on me because I don't take one I thought my asthma was mild enough, I don't like to wine about it so I just try to run through it. I feel like a compleate loser the whole class looked at me like I was nuts and having some kind of psychotic breakdown. It was really really embarssing and scary. I honestly don't cry or get scared easily. My mom was like "what am I supposed to do about it?" and now I just don't want to go back to that class.
everyone just kept standing around stairing at me and talking about me while my teacher tried to talk me through it (wich was nice)....ugh! I just keep remembering this guy I like who stood there and looked at me like 'wtf what's wrong with you?'

Relax, in a few days people will totally forget about it. I have asthma, and I had several asthma attacks in gym class as well as during sporting events (I was a Cross Country and Long Distance Track Runner) and even ended up in the ambulance a few times when I was in middle and high school. People were probably staring at you because they were nervous/scared for you. If it happens again you should try to relax; crying and getting upset makes your asthma worse.
Also, you should really carry your inhaler with you everywhere, even if your asthma is mild. But trust me when I say everyone will forget about it soon enough.

Anyone hu makes fun of you for having asthma is a total loser. U have nothing to feel embarassed about, its something outta your control and theres nothing wrong with that. I bet each and every one of those kids in your gym class have had "embarassing" moments too. I mean, i was one of the "cliche popular high school cheerleaders" and even i fell down the stairs once or twice haha. N honestly by college, youll forget most of them anyways (trust me!). My boyfriend has really bad asthma but we make a joke out of it that my "hotness takes his breath away" haha. dont worry.

Don't even worry about it! I've been through that type of thing several times. For example, a couple of months ago, I had an asthma attack in my dance class at school and it seemed like everyone was staring at me! I felt embarrassed because there were so many people crowded around me and I just couldn't stop the asthma attack; thus, it took me a while for me to catch my breath and get back on my feet. People were talking about it and by the end of the day, over half of the people at my school knew about the incident! At first I was bothered by it, then I realized that it wasn't even a big deal. It's not my fault I have asthma and it's not my fault that I couldn't totally control it at the time. If someone wants to make fun of me because I have asthma, that's their problem and that will be on their guilty conscious.
You shouldn't be so concerned; besides, in a week or two, most of the students in your class will probably forget about it. The subject probably won't even come up again if you just wait another week. If anyone says anything rude about it, kindly let them know that you're not at fault and you have nothing to be ashamed of! You really don't need to be worried about this, so just try to relax and be happy!
