Asthma Info: Average Lung Capacity? 20 Year old Male?

Hi,I did the following:

Average Lung Capacity? 20 Year old Male?A little over 1 and a half month ago had surgery for Appendicitis, during which I got a nifty Voldyne 5000 to measure my inhale lung capacity. I have always had some trouble breathing, primarily with full inhalations.... mainly the feeling that I can't take a full breathe (leaving me "short breathed" for a short period of time), which leads me to forcibly inhale and exhale until I feel that my lungs have fully expanded. This feeling always primarily resides towards the top of my lungs.

Anyways, which leads me to my question. Before my surgery, I was able to inhale to 3000 mL, now I'm really forcing to get to 2500mL (and that number hasn't improved in nearly 3-4 weeks). I am a 20 year old male, non-smoker, non-obese, overall good health (besides what I listed above). What is a "good" lung capacity for these types of qualities?

a normal human adult lungs capacity is 6 Liter, lungs pressure is 15 - 40 cm water.

problem could be the breathing pressure, check the doctor see if you need cpap
