just thought you should know that i have contacted the approriate people and have been told she is classed as disabled and is entitled to carere allowance due to the severity of her allergy

No. Allergies are not considered a disability.

No - having a nut allergy doesnt stop her from working it just means she has to avoid nuts - ok it might mean she wont work in a factory where food is prepared/packaged where nuts or traces of nuts are used but its not going to stop her working at all
