Help! Is this something I should really notices, or what?

Other people asked questions on various topics, and are still
waiting for answer. Would be great if you can take a sec and
answer them

Help! Is this something I should really notices, or what?(Is it a mental problem?)
Okay, I know this sounds really sort of bad, but I get really bad night terrors (I'm a thirteen year old female). . .
Like I can't turn a corner (my room is at the end of a hallway of three other rooms) without tensing, i think somethings going to jump out at me. I don't know why...
Could it be:
the color of my wall paper? My brothers used to (always) jump out and scare me? I sort of collect dolls (well, I get them and don't want to make anyone feel bad, so I keep them, and they are around my room, watching me)? I'm living with a secret? I hate who I've been? I can't find myself in the mess of a life I've made for myself?

I have to sleep with Mr. Panda (My stuffed animal) or I can't sleep, he makes me feel safe (He's really big).

I'm doing fine in school. . . (well, it's over now)

Oh I'm on a few meds... my asthma stuff, and then some sleep med, It's like "Amitripulyne" (I know that is spelled wrong, Idk how to spell it though.)

I don't really want to talk to a counselor or anything, but I will, if you think that is best? But what do you think the problem is?
Any ideas? What do I do now? Help!

I yeah, I still have a night light (well my sister does, but it works for me too), and I can't walk down really dark halls (like to get to my room) I need to turn on a light, Or I'm to scared...

Yes talk to a counselor and have someone look into the side affects of your medication.

That used to happen to me aswell,
but it was with zombies.
Still happens sometimes but not as bad as before.
It started happening after i watched some scary zombie movies.
I just grew out of it.
if you wake up a lot at night and cant get to sleep because your too scared try reading a book for a few minutes. that should take your mind off it.
here's another hint. try not to watch any scary movies. they make it worse.

Hope that helps.
