how to stop my mum smoking im scared of her dying?She has been smoking since she was 17, she is now 48 that is 31 years of smoking! I asked her if she smoked when she was pregnant with me or my brother and she said yes while being ashamed. My brother has asthma and my mums smoking could've caused it. She keeps saying yeh i will stop soon, but she never has. Everytime i try to talk to her about it she yells at me and tells me to leave her alone then lights a ciggarette because she is "stressed" from me telling her what to do. I see no point in it. I tell her who do you love more, I will die, My brother has asthma, you will die before seeing your grandchildren and so much more. She has already had breast cancer and I dont think her body can take anymore kimo therapy or damage. Im 13 and I love my mum and I dont want her to die. Annother thing isd we dont have very much money (her being a single parent) so we cant afford her to spend like $ 100 a week. Nicorette patches don't work for her and I don't know what to do. She has been coughing lately and I think its the smokes. She also smokes in the car and house and near me and it pisses me off! I dont want to die either and my brother having asthma and all it is worse for him! Anyone know how I can help her to stop, things I can say, maybe if i have a meeting with her and jack about it or what ever! HELP ME!
