When is spring allergy season officially "over"?

Hi,I did the following:

When is spring allergy season officially "over"?I live in CT, and have never had allergies before this year. They are clearly seasonal, but when should the allergen levels go down and the torture stop?

According to weather.com tree pollen in CT (Hartford) peaks in early-May, and ends in late-July. Weed pollen peaks in late-August and ends in early-October.

So if you're only allergic to tree pollen, and not weed pollen, then you can expect relief by late July. If you also suffer from weed pollen, then you're stuck suffering until October.

Try taking some over the counter medication like Zyrtec or Claratin, for some people they are very effective, if not to completely eliminate symptoms, to at least to provide some relief.

I don't have too much luck taking the medications personally, I try to stay indoors as much as possible. You especially don't want to be outdoors exercising during the allergy season.

Good luck!
