Milk allergy and behavior issues in toddlers?I have a 19 month old daughter. As she became more a more a "toddler," I started noticing that she wasn't quite like the other kids. Other kids could hold there attention more than 2 minutes, they sat down to eat (in big groups, we put her in a high chair at home), and they participated in parallel play. Our daughter had no attention, would go do something else while others ate, and crawled out of the doggy door while other kids did an activity.
We took away milk on a hunch, and we seem to have a different kid. She doesn't fuss at my leg all day, she can play with blocks, watch a little Elmo, etc.
It's only been 1.5 days without milk or milk products. I am counting my blessing too early? Have you had this experience with milk? It just seems too early to have my baby truly happy. She hasn't been this happy in a LONG time. It's hard to believe that milk was the cause.
What are your opinions on this?
We made an appointment with a behavioral pediatrician. We have been keeping a log of her outbursts, etc. So when we go into the doctor, we can show her what our daughter is like. Now that we've taken away milk, we can show her what she is like after the milk is gone.

I think it could definitely be the cause.I know a boy with a milk allergy. One day at camp, he had one of those little containers of milk, by accident,he was so out of control, his Mom had to come and get him.Talk to your Pediatrician.
