Is it possible to know all of one's allergies just from a blood test or a test of some sort, like "RAST"?I'm worried I have an allergy to some kind of nut thing!!
does the blood test or whatever test, just determine one allergy or a few????
I don't know if I'm allergic to something for certain and I was wondering if a test would show any allergy I may have when I have no idea what allergy it could be to.
Thank you!

Yes and no.
The RAST , radioallergosorbent, test you speak of can test for a large variety of allergens including common foods, and so on -- or they can be run for a single suspected allergy. The problem is RAST testing is notoriously innaccurate. With something like a 50-60% accuracy rating. So a positive on a RAST gives you almost no better result that you just flipping a coin. But it is a good place to start if you have no idea.
Alternatively, the traditional skin testing is fairly accurate and multiple allergens can be tested... usually the most common.
Nothing is 100%, or eve 99% -- but you can get a good idea with skin testing.
Why are you worried of a nut allergy? Have you recently shown a reaction to something you ate? Or are you just worrying you might have some allergy that will hurt you , be dangerous in the future unknowingly? If it is the latter you shouldn't worry .. most any allergy would have presented itself already. Though if you have a relatively weak allergic response to a substance you may not be able to tell .. but likewise it isn't particularly dangerous either.
