Is there an apple juice allergy?I have recently begun drinking "Simply Apple" apple juice, and while it's delicious, I think I may be having a reaction to it. I polished off a carton over the course of last week and had been quite itchy all over my body, but I hadn't put two and two together. This week I bought some more and felt itchy after drinking it so it's my speculation that the apple juice is what's causing my severe itching. I don't think there's anything else in my diet that I haven't had before other than this. Could this be this cause?

You can develop an allergy to just about anything, to be honest. However, itchiness is usually a symptom that you may be just now developing an allergy towards it. Also, it could be something entirely different. What most people will tell you to do on here is go to a doctor and have them screen for any allergies you may have.

Yes. I am allergic to apples, and apple juice, and apple sauce, as well...anything that contains apples. And itching all over the body is how it started. Get a food allergy test for apples, and you will find out.
