I've heard there's a "kitten season" when there are more kittens at shelters. Does anyone know when that is?

Other people asked questions on various topics, and are still
waiting for answer. Would be great if you can take a sec and
answer them

I've heard there's a "kitten season" when there are more kittens at shelters. Does anyone know when that is?I need to adopt a kitten because I have pet allergies and kitten dander is less offensive. If I own the kitten as it grows, I'll become immune to his particular brand of dander. I'd really rather give a kitten that really needs a home a place in my family rather than go to a breeder. When will I be most likely to find one in the shelter?
