When do "seasonal allergies" end for the year?

Hi,I did the following:

When do "seasonal allergies" end for the year?I live in Michigan, and have been taking Zyrtec and Nasonex to fight outside seasonal allergies since mid-summer. The leaves are just about off the trees, but the grass is still green and we still have some flowers. Do I have to wait until snowfalls to go off of it?

First frost usually does it because it kills off a lot of the ragweeds and such. Relief is in sight!

It depends. If you are allergic to more outdoor allergens I would stop once the weather gets cold. If you have allergies to mold etc I would keep going through the year since these tend to be worse through the winter (people are inside more).

Depends on what you are allergic to, but usually after the first freeze the plants are dead and the pollen is gone.

It's one of the few things I like about cold weather, my allergies subside although it takes about a week or so and I have to totally clean and dust my house and air it out. The only other things I like about cold weather are no flies, ants, or mosquitoes. I would wait until everything was brown to stop and then do as I do and thoroughly clean and dust and vac and put a new bag in the vac before and after just to be sure your vac isn't spewing more of the same out into your home. Hope this helps
