ever heard of a cycling shoe allergy?I just bought a pair of Pearl Izumi X-Alp shoes and I think I may actually be allergic to them. They smell VERY strong of rubber or glue or some compound like that, and my eyes get itchy if I'm around the "fumes" long enough. At first I thought I must be imagining it...but I can reliably get my eyes to itch just by setting the shoes near me. Doesn't seem to bother my feet, or irritate my eyes when outside in fresh air though. Anyone heard of this before?
