Now i only have a difficulty breathing during class so i go to the nurse to see how im doing i tell i have my inhaler and she says "i dont hear any wheezing its probley a panic attack" i told her that i wasent even worried about anything she didnt answer so she let me stay there until i controlled my breathing.
(my asthma is mild)
O.k so this my question how do you know your having an asthma attack?
Also im now scared of going somewhere alone like without friends or family im scared i might have a hard time breathing and there is no one to help me.
what should i do if i have a hard time breathing (its usually only like 15 min. and then i feel better)???
( i have went to the doctor already so i just want to see what you have to say)
when i moved here i started to feel my asthma felt worse (i havent had an attack just hard time breathing)
it gets very humid here

There is a correlation between coffee consumption and reduced asthma attacks. Caffeine turns into a bronchodialator in your system.

I'm sorry you are going thru this. My daughter who is 3 has it. I'm always watching her. Just don't run, dont do anything that will make you tired fast like doing exercise or running. If you do that you will have an attack. Also, always carry with you the inhaler, you never know when you willneed it.
Good luck and take care of yourself.

Okay first off why don't you try getting a long term asthma controller such as advair, singular, or symbicort. These medications help control your asthma by taking them once daily and helps so that you don't have to use your inhaler as often
Sorry to hear about the nurse and she should know that just because you aren't wheezing doesn't mean your asthma isn't affecting you because everyones symptoms are different and although wheezing is very key in asthmatics it doesn't happen to everyone.
And trust me you will know when you have an asthma attack because you won't feel right, you may feel like there is some one on your chest and you can't pull in a big enough breath and maybe your heart is beating a little faster then normal but one thing you should know is everyones asthma can be different so the only way you know is really by you and other peoples reactions (wish i could help more but i am not sure how to describe my attacks to you more).
To ease your worry of going anywhere alone just take your inhaler everywhere!
If your having a hard time breathing then take your inhaler, put your hands on your head and breathe in slowly, if it gets worse you can turn on the hot water in your shower and just take breathes of the hot steam, and usually drinks like coke or coffee that contain caffeine can relax the muscles around your air ways as well *but no matter what you have to stay calm because stressing about it can make it worse*
I am so sorry that you live in the humidity that really sucks but i hope this helps and that you get better :)
