Do yall think i have a decent chance of getting a waiver?I'm applying to the Service Academies and recently went to my DoDMERB(The MEPS for officer programs), and my doctor found no traces of asthma(no wheezes, crackles, or anything wrong with my lungs);however, I did tell them in my medical history that I had been prescribed precautionary meds for asthma at age 15, but then after my doctors told me i had outgrown asthma. I looked back at that visit where I was last given meds, and it said "no SOB(shortness of breath)". It also said my lungs had good air flow.
Sorry for the long post, but please give me your input retaining to my question.
And Please none of this crap about asthma being a permanent disqualifier, because I personally know people who recently got a waiver for current asthma

I was told pretty much anything that's been resolved for at least 2 years is likely to be waived. I had a tentative diagnosis of something called idiopathic anaphylaxis a few years ago (anaphylaxis is auto. discharge, too), and I'm going ahead with everything and counting on the best outcome, too. Mine is weird and a long story, but hopefully we'll both get waived! All we can do is try!
