Please help with biology experiment?I've been asked to help someone come up with an experiment. They need to design an experiment that answers the question "what factors lead to an increase in asthma cases?"
She doesn't have to actually carry out the experiment, just write down a proposal-like paper.
We thought of parental smoking leading to asthma but we just don't know how someone would test that. You can't just write "follow a whole bunch of kids (who have smoking parents) around for twenty years to see if they get asthma." So how do we write this?
Any ideas?
