Do I have an allergy to the pollen of a specified tree?In my school there are a lot of poplars. An other schoolmate of mine has allergy to poplars and has described to me her symptoms (running nose and an "itchy" throat). Today as I was at school, I felt the same symptoms, but as soon I went away from the school, the symptoms passed away. I thought I have an allergy to pollen in general. That's why I passed two hours in a pine forest, but felt nothing!! Do I have an allergy only to poplar pollen??

Not necessarily. Different types of trees have different cycles of germination. So just because the poplar trees are in bloom, doesn't mean that the evergreens will be.

what is the result of your allergy testing???

the only way you will know for sure, is to visit a doctor to get tested. i would recommend doing that because with spring coming it will only get worse. jmo
