Panic attack or just anxiety?Just found out I am pregnant. I am very happy about the baby. Worried about a lot of things and I have been getting kind of a "shortness of breath" sensation and a tightness in my throat. Don't want to take any meds does anyone have advise for what I can do to help these sensations without taking meds

Good call on staying off the meds, the withdrawal can be absolute hell... The symptoms you describe are typical anxiety symptoms and they are perfectly normal. Talk to someone about your feelings. If the physical symptoms persist, consider breathing exercises, which can be found on cd/dvd et cetera. If you feel the need to have an expert lead you in relaxation exercises, find a biofeedback practitioner in your area. These people are normally licensed psychologists who will show you how relaxation can benefit you physically. I've included a link below to find a provider in your area.
Above all else, talk with your OB/GYN about these symptoms, her reassurance that they are normal will help you overcome them.

also just relax, go to the spa, or get a facial, and just relax.

I agree to not take any medication unless it is a last resort. You are probably are a little nervous and what you describe may be a little anxiety.
When you get worried, just think of the happiness you will soon experience. Visualize it and your mind should come to peace. Other things you can do is curl up on the couch for an hour or so a day and do nothing except read favorite books and watch favorite TV shows.
If you just learned you are pregnant, you are still early enough along where you should keep getting light exercise - especially if you did before. Though do check with your doctor first about what you can or can't do before doing anyting above and beyond normal.
