My doctor won't listen to me!?Ugh it's so annoying I've been going to the only doctor that takes my insurance for over two years with basically the same problem, sometimes It's a little different but every time it comes back to I have a hard time breath and have what I think are asthma attacks. I got tons tests done for diabetes, thyroid problems, ect. Then he said it was because I was depressed and that what I think are asthma attacks are really just panic attacks. He gave me pills and they didn't do much so I stop taking them. Later he tell me it's my fault for not taking the pills so he did another blood test and was like "ok this is the last time I'm going to tell you, you are fine. Your just depressed" But I know what I feel and I don't feel right but I defiantly don't feel depressed. I have every single symptom of asthma except wheezing. And I told him that, and he said "Then it's not asthma because you aren't wheezing." I usually get it really bad in Spring which is when my allegories are the worst as well as stress with final and other end of the school stuff going on, which I read online that that can trigger asthma. What do you think, to you think I should trust my doctor that I'm fine or maybe just pay to see another doctor? Also what do you think asthma or not? :)
Oh and my symptoms.
I can't take a deep breath.
Shortness of breath.
Hard time sleeping.
Coughing.
Tight, and pressure / pain in chest.
Kind of moody (not much but it's there)
Shaky hands (sometimes)
Dry mouth. (always thirsty)
For the attacks:
I get dizzy / light headed and can't breath right and it's not wheezing but I have to like gasp for air or keeping yawning to breath.
Oh another thing is it's the worst right before bed or if I'm lying down. I don't if that makes a difference. But I think that is probably my own fault because that is when it's really quite and I can feel and hear I'm not breathing right ... and I get worried or scared I'll have an attack. lol
