Can a child develop an allergy to Latex?Our daughter is having what the dr's are calling a "contact allergic reaction" to something at her daycare. The daycare thinks it may be the latex balls they have. She had latex pacies as a child....can you develop an allergy to latex later in life?

Yes you can get an allergy to anything at any time in your life, although its more common to get them as a child.

Yes definitely you can develop it at any time. With a contact reaction I would be starting at a simpler starting point such as the hand wash they use - they are usually fairly harsh-try swapping for some plain sorbolene and a towel rather than papertowel to see if that makes a difference. You should consider things that are rubbed on her skin eg sunscreen, handwash, etc.
