Is being "too clean" bad for your body?I know that cleanliness is important, but can you be "too clean"? Is it true that some dirt is actually necessary in order to NOT develop some allergies or diseases?
-Christy
I dont think its necessary, but you can remove all the oils from your skin by taking really hot showers or scrubbing to hard.

not dirt but bacteria.

Your immune system needs exposure to bacteria in order to fully develop. The more you're exposed to, the more you will be able to fight off in the future. Ranchers who are exposed to cattle all the time don't get e coli because they are around it so much their immune system fights it off.
