Is there such a thing as a "Hypoallergenic" Dog???

Is there such a thing as a "Hypoallergenic" Dog???The term is used a lot, but is there really such a dog???

With allergies its not the fur that the person is allergic to its the dander right?

So, if a "non-shedding" breed of dog were to have dry skin for some reason or another, that dog would have more dander, so wouldn't that bring on the owner's allergies???

(A lot of people think that bathing a dog would make less dander, but if done too much, that makes the dog's skin dryer.)

Hypoallergenic just means less allergenic--not "non-shedding". However, people often use the two synonomously, which is incorrect.

Yes I have one it is a Bichon Frise. Super Cute you would love them. They are white and similar to a poodle but not as skinny looking. My dog is full size at 12lbs.
