It should! I get itchy eyes when I am too close to cats, and benedryl works pretty well. The only caution is that is makes you really sleepy. 2 pills will completely knock me out!

It probably will, but it will make you very groggy as well. I prefer to take Loratadine, the generic for Claritin. Buy them at Wal-Mart because they're cheapest there. They don't make me sleepy and they work great.

It will help with any kind of allergic reaction. But the other post is right about the drowsy part. I get knocked out with two Benadryl also. You may just want to go with one.

If you take it as directed it should do the trick or you could try claratin because it works faster and you dont have to worry about being tired all the time.
